Stormy Daniels remains completely off on the sidelines for this, easily her most accomplished writing, directing effort to date. For Love, Money or a Green Card is a sweet, fun romp about a little British lass (Jezel), whose dreams of finding success as a fashion designer in America become jeopardized when she loses her job, and hence, her work visa.
Luckily for her, her lesbian pal Avy Scott has a single brother who'll agree to marry her for a fee so she can stay in the country. The only problem is, the brother, played amusingly by Randy Spears, is kind of an anal retentive freakazoid.
Now luckily for Stormy, she scored Jezel's last title before the two-time AVN Female Performer of the Year nominee signed with Club Jenna – and what a score it was! The girl, as Daniels has put on full display here, is a natural-born actress through-and-through, and she gives one of those performances in this movie that'll charm you, enchant you and just make you fall head-over-heels in love with her. It's actually Audrey Hepburn-esque, we'd go so far as to say.
Add to that an effervescent musical theme reminiscent of Thomas Newman's American Beauty score, inventive and cinematic editing, and sex on an even smolder level throughout, and what you've got is erotica that glistens like a diamond ring.
Pre-noms: Best Packaging, Best Editing – Video (Jonathan Morgan), Best Coupling (Jezel & Randy Spears), Best Screenplay (Daniels), Best Director – Video (Daniels), Best Actress (Jezel), Best Sex Comedy.
Retailing: Any fan of Roxy Jezel's will swoon over it, but so will couples.
