Let's start with the obvious: Thundercrack is a cult classic, a masterpiece of its genre. Make no mistake, it's one of the worst-made, most ineptly acted, atrociously-lit, hilariously campy indie films to ever see the light of day. And one of the most fun. This is an art-house, midnight-screening epic of DeMillean proportions. (AVN Associate Editor Tod Hunter named it one of his Top 15 Adult Films of all time in the AVN 15th Anniversary Supplement last February.)

The ridiculously entertaining plot concerns a group of uniquely American types who take refuge from a thunderstorm in a Psycho/Old Dark House-inspired Victorian mansion up on the hill, where they indulge in every sort of sexual act possible. Deceased director Curt McDowell was nothing it not courageous. He includes accujack masturbation machines, dildos, blowjobs, explicit heterosexual sex, explicit gay sex, lesbianism, cum shots, cross-dressing and bestiality -- if you consider fucking a human dressed in a gorilla suit sex with animals. And this was made in 1975!

This is not a film to rent when you're bored after a tough day at work. Save it for an occasion. Invite a lot of people over from all walks of life, stock up on beer and trashy appetizers, and put this on. It'll be one of the best parties you ever had.
