There's an endearing home-style quality to these videos where people talk in Middle Western accents and say stuff like "Ah jeez," "You betcha," and "Holy cow." There's plenty of sex, all of it is depressing and amateur, but sperm does manage to make its way onto a few cheeks and chins. On the other hand there's something comic about a lot of this material that bears some relation to the old SCTV. A few innovative experiments with dildos in Vol. 22, which is subtitled Office Visit are worth noting. One guy performs a mock-surgical maneuver by pretending to hammer a dildo into a woman's vagina with a mallet. As horrific as it sounds, the scene is not remotely violent. Later on, a gal spreads wide for a dildo that's attached to something resembling an automatic rowing machine. The gem of gems occurs when a fellow is about to enter into some sloppy seconds after his pud-buddy shot his load in the two-minute drill. "Ahhh, she's a mess, Jimmy," he says as cum oozes out of her center onto a wooden table, whereupon she (a Mongrel regular) says, "What do you expect, just fuck it."
