Synopsis

This fantasy should strongly appeal to most metal-heads as well as to pseudo-intellectuals in black who claim to read Nietzsche but would secretly prefer instead to play D&D... and later beat on the bratwurst.

Reviews

While the American release of this European feature neglects to hype the performers, let alone even credit them or the director, the production values on it are outstanding. Pre-nom for Best Videography, Best Art Direction - Video, and Best Editing - Video. The conventionally seamless editing is skillful in its unobtrusive presentation, especially the finale orgy scene - with shots just long enough for a satisfying eyeful and varied enough to keep the attention level up all the way through. Plenty of great-looking, all-natural hard bodies pound and slurp flesh in a post-apocalyptic setting reminiscent of Mad Max.

Though the sexual activity often consists of blowjobs and good old cock-and-pussy hook-ups, Euro-style nastiness is plainly evident on this tape. Look out for intense sphincter-breaching deviance along with man-scorning lez orgies. Sex scene highlights: an intense, hard-pumpin' d.p. during a threeway when Viktor's men happen upon a lone Amazonian guard and the final orgy uniting Viktor's victorious tribe with the suddenly receptive Amazonians.

This feature's flavor is heavily medieval Gothic and Teutonic (the dialogue is in German, but narration is satisfactorily dubbed into English). The look is neo-Dungeons-&-Dragons-type fantasy (without the enchanted-fairies-'n'-unicorns crap) laden with industrial gloom for a more post-modern edge. However, the storyline turns out to be cheesier than a Wisconsin dairy - the resolution is incredibly pat, uncritically reaffirming Enlightenment beliefs in Progress and Salvation despite its nihilistic bent. But hey, it's porn, and does its job of providing erotic stimulation very well. Despite the setting of a dark, post-apocalyptic dystopia, Skin 20/20 is really a light romance with an ending as happy and optimistic as any Charles Dickens comedy.
