This is another urban tale of thick mascara, false eyelashes and cheap toupees.

Goody-two-shoes Susan and her louse-husband Jerry live in a ramshackle, subterranean New York apartment. Their palatial abode plus the fact that Jerry's "in between jobs" makes their domestic tranquility ripe for plucking.

Lo and behold, Susan's old high school buddy, Harriet, shows up to piss in the marriage kettle. Quicker than you can say infidelity, Jerry falls prey to the seductive wiles of Harriet and decides to leave Susan for greener pastures. Harriet's attempt to "console" Susan introduces her to the depravity of booze, cheap one-night stands, lesbianism and motel sex involving guys with goatees.

Meanwhile, Susan's boss, Gregory Hope, a man who writes off hookers as a company expense, starts getting a little concerned when Susan doesn't show up for work. Of course, it takes him two weeks to reach the conclusion that something's wrong. Only we discover that Hope is tied into the same intricate network of swingers which Harriet, Jerry and Susan now belong to.

As we discover Harriet's motives in all of this sordidness, we learn that she's been harboring resentment and bitterness towards Susan for many years and has been employed by Hope to bring Susan down into the gutter.

An inescapable dearth of logic envelops some of the events in this picture, but unintentional laughs galore can be found in this barrel of grim pretensions.
