Exactly one year after Evil Angel released the last video. Nacho Vidal directed for them, Evil Angel announced the AVN Award-winning performer has joined the ranks of Rocco Siffredi, John Leslie, Joey Silvera, Christoph Clark, Jules Jordan, and company-owner John Stagliano as an exclusive director of their company.
In early 2002, Vidal released Nacho: Latin Psycho parts 1 and 2, with both videos including scenes shot in Europe and the United States. Since then, Vidal has been directing for Sineplex with his No Limits series and performing for other companies.
Vidal has finished production and editing on Nacho Back 2 Evil, his first release as an exclusive Evil Angel director. Lighting for the video was performed by AVN-nominated (for The Fashionistas) Don Crane. Nacho Back 2 Evil has a scheduled release date of June 23, 2003. It features Belladonna, Avy Scott, Julie Night, Ashley Long, Katja Kassin, Velvet Rose, Alicia Rhodes and Randee.
Vidal has also decided that he will be performing only in scenes for Evil Angel. This will include his own projects as well as the projects of the other Evil Angel directors.
"He just said that he only wanted to work for you guys as a performer. We asked him if he was sure and he said 'I like you guys a lot. I have no reason to work for anyone else. I just want to dedicate myself to making my product and your product better'," Evil Angel DVD manager Tricia Devereaux told AVN.com.
"Him directing for us exclusively is what was really important to us. That way we have a chance to promote him as an equal," she added, though she did note that it was possible Vidal's performance obligations could become contractual at a later date.
"We've considered Nacho a member of the family since we met him back in 1999, and we're proud to make it official," said Devereaux.
