Amateur Porn Studio Prompts NY Town to Reconsider Zoning Laws

A photography studio which was shooting what the City Council considered soft-porn in nearby Farmington has caused the local Zoning Board of Appeals to review its code pertaining to adult entertainment and home businesses.

Mpnnow.com reported that Chairman Paul Lytle has asked fellow members to look closely at the current regulations before their next meeting on Monday.

The council inspection stems from a Farmington couple that had been taking erotic photographs of women and then forwarding them to adult websites to be uploaded. A local high school student later came across one of the photos online, recognizing the model.

According to the report, Sheriff's deputies determined that all of the models were at least 18 and, therefore, the business was legal; however Farmington officials cited the pair for allegedly violating the town's adult-entertainment and home-business zoning regulations.
