Biography

Webster defines serenity as "a state that is calm, quiet, peaceful and placid." This Serenity, however, has an entirely different connotation! Serenity arrived on the scene in grand fashion in November of 1993 by competing in the $20,000 Topless Dancer World Championship. The event was held at the world famous Stardust Hotel and Casino on the famed Las Vegas Strip. This marked the former principal ballerina's first appearance on the contest circuit. Serenity not only competed, she won. Serenity bested a field of 180 international contestants, becoming the first American to win this event. Serenity also recorded the largest point difference between first and second ever, winning over celebrity judges including Diana Ross, Max Baer and Fabio, among others, with her grace and beauty.

In 1995 Serenity, recognized as one of the best dancers in the industry, was approached to choreograph and perform the opening and closing numbers of The Adult Video News Awards Show. This is the premier awards show for the adult industry and is seen by millions worldwide. This event draws press from CNN, ABC, etc. to newspapers around the world. Serenity's work was such an overwhelming success, she choreographed and performed the show the next three years. Serenity has performed at four major Las Vegas hotels. Every November from 1996-98, The Riviera Hotel and Casino featured Serenity as a guest performer in its world renowned Crazy Girls Review.

In 1996 Serenity was signed by adult movie giant Wicked Pictures to the most sought after contract in the adult industry. Wicked Pictures, a promotional machine in the industry, receives hundreds of requests by starlets to be put under contract. Serenity fit the bill perfectly. Wicked Pictures President Steve Orenstein explains, "Serenity is one of the most reliable, dependable, hardworking, talented women in the business. We can count on Serenity to promote and go the extra mile for the company."

This commitment to her work didn't go unnoticed. Every Serenity movie released in 1997 received nominations including a Best Actress nomination for her performance in Crazed. Gene Ross, reviewer for Adult Video News, wrote, "Serenity delivers an emotional powerful performance!" Of the 8000 videos released in 1997, 15 were nominated for best video. Serenity's Crazed and Indigo Delta were two of them. In September of 1997 at The Nightmoves Adult Awards Show in Tampa, Serenity received the Editor's Choice Award for Best Actress.

In May of 1997, Serenity made her first appearance at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Serenity did over 100 print and television interviews for worldwide media exposure. E! Television took notice of Serenity and profiled her on Sex on the Riviera 97. This special went on to become the second most watched travel show in E! history. With the success of this special, E! again approached Serenity, this time to be field producer and co-host for the Las Vegas segment of E!'s Wild on the Strip. This special allowed Serenity to showcase her ease of interviewing, and also her unique way of profiling her hometown of Las Vegas. The Wild on the Strip special went on to become the third highest rated travel show.

Serenity's more challenging role came in February 1998. E! Television wanted Serenity to be hostess for a birthday party. Not just any birthday party, but the "King of All Media" Howard Stern's party. Serenity, with just seconds to get interviews during Howard's breaks, easily got the needed footage, interviewing the likes of Melrose Larry Green, Hank the Angry Dwarf and Allison Stern among others. Serenity earned the nickname, "One Take Serenity." Serenity was also at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. Serenity was seen in a special Cannes edition of Variety magazine. Serenity was also nominated for Best Actress at the Hot D'Or Awards show for her role in Wicked Pictures' The Time Machine. E! Television once again featured Serenity, this time as a correspondent, in its new special Sex on the Riviera 98. This show is one of the highest rated travel shows in E! history.

One of Serenity's most ambitious projects from Wicked Pictures is Pornogothic. This vampire tale features the mainstream special effect makeup talent of Todd Master. Serenity had a hand in every aspect of the movie including the casting. "I consider this to be my best movie ... for now," she said. Pornogothic was featured prominently at the 1998 VSDA Show in July in Las Vegas. There was also a major release party at The Beach in Las Vegas during VSDA for Pornogothic. Serenity made a special appearance on The Howard Stern Show June 30, giving away a trip to this party. Pornogothic went on to be a #1 rental in the country.

Serenity once again went in front of E! Television cameras in late summer and fall of 1998 as correspondent for E!'s new specials Wild on the Mediterranean, Wild in Amsterdam, Wild on the Hawaiian Islands and Wild on the Islands. In September of 1998, with 20,000 ballots cast at the Exotic Dancer Awards Show in Las Vegas, Serenity was awarded 1998 Adult Film Entertainer of the Year. A week later, with 8000 ballots cast at the 1998 Nightmoves Award Show in Tampa, Serenity won the 1998 Best Actress award. On October 24, 1998, Serenity was the cyber-host of the world's most recognized Halloween Party, the 19th annual Exotic Erotic Ball. The event was held in front of 20,000 people at The Cow Palace in San Jose and millions around the world on the internet.

On Nov. 7, 1998 Serenity made her network TV debut on CBS's Howard Stern Radio Show. Serenity was on for the entire hour of the shock jock's controversial show. Serenity's correspondent skills also caught the eye of Playboy TV, as Serenity co-hosted and performed for Playboy's Strip Search: Las Vegas. This special aired in November of '98 on Playboy TV. Serenity also became the Publisher for Deja Vu Showgirls magazine, writing a monthly column as well as articles and answering reader mail. In addition, she hosted the finals of Deja Vu's $10,000 Showgirl of the Year and $10,000 Deja Vu Pol-ympics competitions.

1999 was a red hot year for Serenity. Serenity was once again involved in the AVN Award Show. Serenity was hostess for the internationally seen event held at Ballys in Las Vegas. This show was seen by millions worldwide. Also in January, Serenity became the first adult performer to perform at a political fundraiser, making a special appearance for Tampa City Council candidate Joe Redner. This performance made international headlines from the national radio show "Bob and Tom" to Reuters News Agency. In April, E! once again thrust Serenity in front of the cameras, this time for its Wild on the Caribbean special shot in Hedonism, Jamaica. In May, Serenity shot the E! special Wild on the Riviera 99 covering that year's Cannes Film Festival. In 1999, Serenity was additionally featured on Bravo, the USA Network and Fox Television. On June 23rd, Serenity appeared on the premier week episode of Comedy Central's new series The Man Show. Serenity was seen once again on The Man Show on July 21st. In September 1999, Serenity was a celebrity guest on Los Angeles' Fox 11 program Good Day LA. In Nov. 99, Serenity guest-starred on the controversial but critically acclaimed Jay Mohr program Action. In December of 99 Serenity went down under to Australia for the first time to appear at the Sexpo Convention, signing thousands of autographs at the Axis Group booth and then bringing the Sexpo Convention to a stop with her dance performances on the main stage as 7000 people watched in awe. Foxtel Arena's The Hub profiled the blonde beauty as she gave an insight into the adult industry, even asking some startled Aussies if they wanted to shoot a movie with her.

Serenity's hard work paid off in January 2000 at the AVN Awards Show in Las Vegas. Serenity was awarded Best Actress for her role in Double Feature. Double Feature went on to win an unprecedented 10 awards, including Best Comedy. This was the most awards by any one movie in AVN history. Serenity jumped back in front of the television cameras late winter 2000 for E!'s Wild on Park City and Wild on Adventure, her 21st E! special, in her hometown of Las Vegas.

Serenity's appeal and reputation continued to expand as owner of Las Vegas Novelties. With continued performing, E! specials and more, Serenity placed herself among the true legends of the adult entertaiment industry.
