Howard Stern, the self-proclaimed "King of All Media", radio personality, media mogul, actor, and author of 2 best selling books, was born in 1954, during the time of McCarthyism and in the Golden Age of Television. Howard Stern is best known for his nationally syndicated FM radio show which shares his name.

Despite his success, Howard has been labeled a shock-jock, due to his frequent use of sexual, racial & scatological humor. However in Howard's eyes, the show has never been about shocking people, instead Howard wants merely to offer his own truthful opinions on a myriad of issues (from global affairs to issues with his own in-studio crew). Despite the controversial nature of his show, Howard is the highest-paid radio host/personality in the country. Howard stern is also the most fined radio host/personality in history of radio. The Howard Stern Show was syndicated for many years on a multitude of FM radio stations throughout the country. Howard's final traditional FM radio broadcast happened on December 16, 2005. Howard moved over to Sirius Satellite Radio on January 9, 2006.

Howard Stern has expanded his business interests to include publishing, television, feature films, and music. In 2006, Howard was named in Time Magazine's "Time 100 - The People who shape our world". Howard also ranked a cool #7 in Forbes Magazine's 2006 Celebrity 100.
