DVDRight off the bat you know this is going to be a twisted ride. Leather-clad Nino Bacci, cruising the streets in his hearse, gets Antonio Madiera and Andy Kirra to fuck in the back. It's the best scene here (listen for some hot talk from Madiera, who guides Kirra through each slurp and thrust). It's all part of a plan to capture the lads as tools in the power struggle between two twins: a vampire and his doctor brother. (Both are played by Rod Barry whose vampire voice is brilliantly altered electronically). The look and feel of this dark tale is clearly from the stylish lens of Michael Zen, who does a fantastic job constructing a story-driven feature with delicious sets. The padded-cell scene has blindfolded Kirra stuck in a straitjacket as Bacci blows him (pre-nom Best Oral Scene), while Barry uses his signature snarl and nastiness to abuse Josh Carter with a variety of implements. While interesting, that scene doesn't flow as well due to an excessive amount of edits. Also feeling truncated are the threesome with Bacci, Kirra, and Trevor Knight, and the finale with Barry and Kirra (which plays like a highlights reel of a longer scene). Still, this is a memorable journey from one of the few directors who dares to be different.

Retailing: Great director, cast and box make this stand out.
