High production values, consistently superior technical quality and two episodes in which Al Parker proves why he's still the reining king of gay video make this title a "must-see" for every fan. But it does lack the good-natured, finely tuned humor that gave Better Than Ever it's greater appeal. The unifying device here is Justin Cade, who plays a dispatcher for a cable company. He amuses himself between calls with the famous pump – and the gimmick becomes a bit tiring before the story is over.
Nonetheless, the rest of the production is first-rate, with Parker and Taylor providing a bang-up finish no one is likely to forget. And if Brad Philips gets any sexier he'll have to be declared a threat to national sanity.
