TAMPA, Fla.—Adam & Eve Pictures earned First Choice honors for two of its films, the erotic thriller The Cursed XXX and its star-studded all-girl release Unleashed, at the 2018 NightMoves Awards. The studio brought home five trophies in total, including Best Feature Director for both films, Best Production Company for its overall cinematic contribution, and the National Lifetime Achievement Award for Kay Brandt, who directed Unleashed.
The awards, honoring excellence in adult entertainment, were presented October 7 at Tampa Gold Club, and sponsored in part by Adam & Eve.

The Cursed XXX tells the story of a pretty young ingenue who comes to a haunted cam house, and various spooky goings-on ensue. Unleashed is an all-girl extravaganza starring eight Best New Starlet nominees.
Known for his acclaimed porn parodies—including Not the Wizard of Oz XXX, Grease XXX and Not South Park XXX—Will Ryder is recognized as a writer, director, producer and composer of dozens of award-winning adult movies. Earning the AVN Award for Director of the Year (Body of Work) in 2010, he has gone on to win AVN Awards for Best Director Parody, Best Screenplay 2018, Best Comedy in 2016 and Best Original Song in 2014. He is also a member of the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame.
Brandt is known for her directorial work in the Adam & Eve releases Babysitting the Baumgartners and Adventures with the Baumgartners, both written by New York Times bestselling author Selena Kitt. The prolific filmmaker has directed more than 40 adult movies since 2009, including 2017’s well-received Hotwives and their Dirty Desires, based upon her own book, as well as many award-winning films for companies such as Adam & Eve, Digital Playground, Girlfriends Films and New Sensations.
