Wicked's Asa Akira to Host Reddit Q&A on Wednesday Evening

LOS ANGELES—Wicked Pictures contract star Asa Akira will host Reddit’s popular Q&A forum, “I Am A: Ask Me Anything,” on Wednesday, December 2.

The "I Am A: Ask Me Anything" session with the multi-award-winning performer and published author will begin at 7 p.m. ET. A link to the online forum will be available via her official Twitter page approximately thirty minutes before the conversation begins. Asa’s last “IAmA,” held in May 2014 and available here, earned No. 1 spot with a 86 percent upvote percentage and more than 3,700 comments.

"This will be my third AMA, so obviously I enjoy doing them a lot. It's always exciting to see what questions people will ask me—the weirder the better, I think! I love that I can answer in long form if I choose, rather than the 140 characters I'm limited to on Twitter. Usually, I end up going for hours and hours, just because I have so much fun."

Akira's Reddit appearance comes at a time when she is at the center of critical acclaim for her work in both feature and all-sex genres. Her Brad Armstrong-directed Hollywood thriller Starmaker is nominated for nearly a dozen AVN Awards, including four major acting nominations: Best Actress (Akira), Best Supporting Actress (Jessica Drake), and Best Supporting Actor nods for both Armstrong and Kurt Lockwood.

Veteran filmmaker Jonathan Morgan’s stylish Asa Akira: Wicked Fuck Doll is nominated in a half-dozen major categories, including Best Star Showcase, Best Director – Non-Feature, and three sex scene mentions for Akira: Best Solo/Tease Performance, Best Double Penetration Sex Scene and Best Oral Sex Scene. As befits someone whose work as an adult performer and best-selling author (Insatiable: Porn—A Love Story) continues to earn her new fans, she is also nominated for Mainstream Star of the Year honors.

Akira’s “I Am A: Ask Me Anything” will run for approximately one hour. In addition to her Twitter page, those planning to join the discussion will find a link to the IAmA on Reddit’s calendar, located here.
