HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Hot on the heels of her winning Best MILF Performer award at NightMoves, adult film star Tanya Tate has been notified she has been nominated for Best Female Performer by United Kingdom Adult Producers (UKAP). Tate is one of the top adult stars in her home country of England and as well as Ireland.
A relative new comer to adult entertainment, Tanya has made an impact in porn.
“It’s an honor to be nominated for an award in my home country of England,” Tate said. “To be seen as one amongst the Best Female Performers in the U.K. is very thrilling.”
As this award is fan voted, Tate has relaunched her VoteTanya.com site. On the site instructions are given on how to register for the UKAP site and Vote for Tate. Another Tate project is also up for an award, the infamous headline making Tanya Tate’s Sex Tour of Ireland has been nominated for Best Reality Scene or Series. Produced by Television X, Tanya Tate’s Sex Tour of Ireland has become one of the most talked about porn series to come out of the U.K., in part due to the scandalous sex scene between Tate and Irish pro-athlete Greg Jacobs.
The controversial XXX title catapulted Tate into the mainstream Irish press leading her to make the front page of several news papers and blogs as well as being ask to speak at the University College Dublin Law Society.
“I’m still amazed at just how popular the series is,” said Tate. “I’m very tempted to do a follow-up. Tanya Tate’s Sex Tour 2...just maybe.”
UKAP has also recognized yet another Tate starring project. Diamond Geezers from Television X is nominated for Best British DVD.
The winners of the UKAP Awards will be announced on Nov. 26 in London.
