LOS ANGELES—New Sensations has released a trailer for Jacky St. James and Eddie Powell's new romantic dramedy Second Chances. Set to street on September 2, the feature marks the award-winning duo's first co-directing collaboration since the critically acclaimed relationship drama Torn. Toplined by Carter Cruise, the film tells the story of a young woman faced with the return of the man who once broke her heart and spirit.
"This film is about recovering from heartache, dusting yourself off, and really finding that inner strength to give yourself a second chance at happiness," Jacky St. James said. "I've been working a lot on Digital Sin's storylines for 'Tabu Tales,' so returning to romance and collaborating with Eddie on something more light-hearted and uplifting was a wonderful challenge!"
Written by St. James, Second Chances stars Carter Cruise as a sweet and trusting college freshman betrayed by her boyfriend when he makes her the butt of a humiliating fraternity joke. When he unexpectedly comes back into her life three years later, a seemingly changed man, she's made to wonder if something truly wonderful can come out of giving people second chances. Allie Haze, Jessa Rhodes, Chad White, Brendon Miller and Logan Pierce co-star.
"I was incredibly impressed with all of the performances in this movie," St. James said. "There is nothing more rewarding for a writer than hearing your words breathed to life by such amazingly talented people. There are a lot of beautiful surprises in this movie. Second Chances has a run time of 133 minutes and includes outtakes, an alternate ending, a photo gallery and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

Fans have a little over a week left to participate in New Sensations’ Second Chances Facebook contest for an opportunity to win a 10-minute Skype session with Jacky St. James and Carter Cruise.
To enter the contest, fans must "Like" the New Sensations/Digital Sin Facebook page and submit a private message to the page's inbox sharing a true and personal account of when they gave or received a second chance in their lives. Entrants must be 18 years or older and have a Skype account. All entries must be received by noon PST on August 31. New Sensations will announce the winner on September 1.
