Alektra Blue Takes Permanent Vacation in ‘The Honeymoon’

LOS ANGELES—The mere mention of the term “The Honeymoon” normally makes one think of that time in a relationship when things are at their sweetest and most blissful. But life is less than harmonious for Blue in the new adult comedy The Honeymoon, arriving on retail store shelves today from Wicked Pictures and acclaimed director Stormy Daniels.

Angela (Alektra) should be embarking on her dream honeymoon, but that proves hard to do since her fiancé got cold feet just before the nuptials. Depressed and confused, her best friend (Kaylani Lei) convinces her to make use of her "non-refundable" travel plans.

Reluctantly, a bitter Angela heads to a posh couples resort alone. The place may be paradise, but it's the eclectic and hilarious cast of characters she meets that makes the greatest impression. From anal-obsessed couples and a horny rock star to some hot-and-ready lipstick lesbians, Angela meets a triple-X rogues gallery of unforgettable vacationers.

But one person in particular, a handsome staff member, snaps her out of her sadness. But is he just a rebound or does he actually have a chance to capture her wounded heart?

Clues to the answer can be found amidst the sensual encounters that pepper the production, as Blue and Lei share the screen with such standout performers as three-time AVN Award winner Monique Alexander, two-time AVN Award nominee Zoe Britton, and such fan favorites as Aiden Ashley, Carmen Valentina and Kaiya Lynn. These ladies find some genuine chemistry with their male co-stars, which is little surprise when one considers they're paired off with Anthony Rosano, Brendon Miller, Dane Cross, Mr. Pete and Rocco Reed.

The sexy action is creatively directed by the acclaimed Daniels, who “deftly balances the story and the sex to create a lush tableaux of desire and abandon.” The DVD's striking O-card is adorned with a magazine cover-worthy shot of Blue, and like all feature productions from Wicked Pictures, the movie was shot and edited in 16x9 widescreen HD.
