LOS ANGELES—Industry couple Marcus London and wife Devon Lee have been heating up adult film sets for years with their steamy scenes, but lately the casts and crews of several major productions have been dishing out some simmering praise and roasting reviews over their latest venture: catering.
So far the top chefs and their company Accidental Catering have worked on the sets of major studios including Wicked Pictures, Digital Playground and Penthouse providing gourmet cuisine to hungry performers and crews.
While fried chicken and pizza may be unofficial staples on many sets, London and Lee draw upon their own experiences as performers to craft their hearty, healthy menus with endurance and sustainability in mind.
“Foods high in fat and carbohydrates might give you a little energy boost at first but you wear out fast and suddenly the pop seems like a mirage, it can really effect your performance” said London, a 2011 AVN Award nominee.
The duo also takes special care to ensure the comfort of the performers, especially to those counting calories.
“Nobody wants to feel bloated when they’re on camera, especially after an 18 hour day” said Lee. “We generally avoid asparagus in our dishes in consideration of the ladies.”
