HOUSTON, TX—Beautiful adult star and former Vivid Girl Kayden Kross will be the featured dancer at Vivid Gentlemen’s Club in Houston from Oct. 15-17. Her performances begin at 11 p.m. each night.

Mostly of Swedish ancestry, Kayden was born and raised in Sacramento and it was her love of animals that started her evolution from shy book nerd to adult star. When she was 18 years old she began stripping at a local club in the nearby California city of Rancho Cordova to earn money to rescue a pony from a slaughter house. The pony was rescued, and Kayden continued dancing through her college years at California State University.
While she was still a student, an agent spotted her and secured modeling jobs for her with Penthouse, Hustler and other magazines. Offers to make adult movies came in quickly and when she was a college senior she signed an exclusive performing contract with Vivid Entertainment. Her adult film career took off and she went on to win multiple performing and directing awards.
Kayden’s love of books and of writing has endured, and her short story “Plank” was included in a noteworthy collection published by HarperCollins. She has also written for Complex and other magazines. Additionally she has been featured regularly on G4 as a guest star and host, and has appeared on Attack of the Show as well as on the network’s reality series The Block and Family Jewels among other TV show appearances.
Kayden is looking forward to visiting Houston and meeting fans between dance breaks when she can pose for snapshots and sign autographs. She said about her career, “I think the travel and various related experiences have been some of the best parts of my career. The most profound change though has probably been the change in me. I came in too shy to give a book report in class and now I can host an awards show. It has sort of rounded me out.”
