NEW YORK CITY—AVN Hall of Famer Julie Simone’s artwork will be featured in the city's Art Walk in Denver, CO. Her solo show featuring her abstract paintings starts on Friday, July 5, and will run through the end of the month at The Red Hand Gallery located at 212 Santa Fe Drive in Denver.
Julie will also be one of the artists in the prolific art show, “Turned On”, an erotic exhibition, taking place at Local Project in Long Island City, NY. The show runs July 6 through 21. The opening reception is July 6, and Julie will be doing a live performance art piece on July 13 at the gallery. Her t-shirts and prints will be on sale in the gift shop during the show. “I moved to NYC to work on my art career, so I’m super-excited about these exhibits,” Simone said. “Both events will be showing some of my short films including my newest work, The Perfect Woman Awakens, a modern day adaptation of Kate Chopin’s novel The Awakening.
