James Bartholet Wins 2011 AVN Award

LOS ANGELES—After six years in the industry and roles in over 100 movies, veteran actor and parody mainstay James Bartholet has finally received some recognition for being one of the most prolific faces in adult today. Fresh from starring in some of the year’s biggest hits, the actor received a 2011 AVN Award last weekend for Best Non-Sex Performance for his multi-layered comedic performance as Bosley in Not Charlie’s Angels XXX (X-Play/Digital Sin).

“I want to thank AVN and everybody who voted for me, this is a great honor. I also want to thank Jeff and Scott at X-Play for casting me in this role, and giving me the creative room to expand the character of Bosley. I really love and appreciate winning this. I’m overwhelmed, even though they just ran the announcement on screen, I ran up on stage and did a celebration dance, while my friends and collegues cheered me on. I’m still on cloud nine," stated Bartholet.

Some of Bartholet’s hit parodies this year include Hustler’s Not M*A*S*H XXX, Not The Bradys XXX: Brady's Meet the Partridge Family and This Ain't Cops XXX. Bartholet is shooting more parodies this month, including parodies of Modern Family for Zero Tolerance and The Godfather for Vivid. Last year, he was nominated for a 2010 AVN Award in the same category for his portrayal of Howard Cunningham in Hustler’s This Ain’t Happy Days XXX.

Bartholet hosts the weekly Inside the Industry radio program heard Wednesday nights from 8:00pm to 9:00pm PST, and rebroadcast daily on LA Talk Radio: www.latalkradio.com and www.insidetheindustry.net. The program is already a very popular internet radio show with members of the adult industry and fans alike. Bartholet recently completed shooting a pilot for a sexy new comedy series for Mac Daddy Entertainment, and recently completed shooting Not Rocky XXX for X-Play and The Rocki Whore Picture Show for Wicked Pictures.
