LOS ANGELES—James Bartholet has received a 2015 AVN Awards nomination for Best Non Sex Acting Performance for his role as Rockin' Rick in Jonathan Morgan's On The Air for Wicked Pictures.
"Thank you AVN for my nomination, and thank you Jonathan and Wicked for casting me," commented the actor and radio host. "This really was a fun role to play, and comes close to home, since I work as a talk show host every week on Inside The Industry. I've had a busy year, portraying a large variety of roles in many hit movies that are also nominated this year, and it means so much to me to be appreciated for my work."
Director Morgan said of the Rockin' Rick turn, "James Bartholet took a simple part and turned it into porno gold."
Bartholet recently wrapped work on Axel Braun's Barbarella XXX for Wicked Pictures, in which he plays the mad scientist Duran Duran, and also wrapped work on Jonathan Morgan's sexy sequel, Hotel No tell 2, also for Wicked Pictures.

Bartholet also will be returning as the host of AVN Live at the 2015 AVN Expo, and will be seen on the red carpet at the awards program in January.
