NEW YORK CITY—Beautiful burlesque beauty and scream queen Gia Nova will be headlining the Mad Monster Convention in Phoenix, AZ May 8 through May 10, featuring her brand new original, after-dark show, “Gia Nova’s Theater of Horrors.”
The 15+ person sexy-spooky extravaganza aims to be a throwback to the Grand Guignol that combined vaudeville, spooks, sideshows, monsters, illusionists, burlesque, drag, plus a live band. Nova warns, "Prepare to be shocked, tittilated, amazed and entertained."
“Moving into the realm of producing a larger show just seems like a natural path, and doing it in the capacity of a national horror convention is extremely exciting,” said Nova. “I feel like the luckiest ghoul in the world.”
“Gia Nova’s Theater of Horrors,” will start at midnight, Friday, May 8, and throughout the weekend Nova will also be available at her own booth for autographs, photographs and will have plenty of merchandise and show memorabilia on hand for sale.
The second annual Mad Monster is a celebration of horror entertainment featuring fans' favorite stars of movies, television and music. Fans can collect autographs, photos and meet their favorite horror personalities in full makeup, as well as attend informative showbiz panels where they can chat with stars such as Happy Days actor/director Henry Winkler, Peter Criss from iconic supergroup KISS, Doug Bradley aka beloved “Pinhead” from Hellraiser, Riccou Browning from the original Creature from the Black Lagoon, wrestling legend Mil Mascaras and members of the legendary rock band Skinny Puppy.
