VAN NUYS, Calif.—DreamZone Entertainment has released the first set of glam/softcore photo galleries from its forthcoming feature-length parody, MacGyver XXX: A DreamZone Parody. Set for mid-January release, this porn sendup of the classic '80s television series stars Richie Calhoun as "Angus MacGyver" and Ella Milano as the title-character’s girlfriend, "Friday."
The initial set of softcore photo sets showcase the film’s female stars in various production shots and behind-the-scenes stills. The original television series version of MacGyver ran on ABC for seven years, from 1985-1992, and starred Richard Dean Anderson as a secret U.S. government agent who opted to use everyday objects rather than firearms to complete dangerous missions. The show developed a cult-like following with eager fans who speculated about the various makeshift solutions that the show’s star invented to extricate himself from jeopardy. No matter what dangerous situation he faced, MacGyver always defeated his adversaries with his crafty skills, astute scientific knowledge and whatever miscellaneous items were available.
Written and directed by Van Anderson, MacGyver XXX: A DreamZone Parody finds the movie’s namesake character doing battle with a nefarious criminal mastermind who has kidnapped both MacGyver’s girl Friday, and his ex-girlfriend. MacGyver must now spring into action, utilizing tools as varied as a rubber-fisted dildo, a condom, a stick of chewing gum, a piece of string and a rubber-band. The 2-disc Collector’s Edition includes the full-length parody feature, a "friendly non-sex version," extensive behind-the-scenes footage, DreamZone trailers and an assortment of photo galleries.
