Digital Playground Receives Five XRCO Awards

VAN NUYS, Calif. — Continuing one of the most successful years in its history, Digital Playground received five prestigious awards from the XRCO show in Hollywood.

Joone's blockbuster Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge was honored with Best Epic, Most Outrageous Extras and Best Single Performance Actor (Evan Stone). Robby D.'s bestseller Cheerleaders received Best Release, while Digital Playground contract girl Stoya received the trophy for New Starlet. Angelina Armani, Digital Playground's newest contract star, gracefully represented the studio through her acceptance of the honors and presentation of three additional categories.

Jared Rutter, XRCO founding member, says, “It's no surprise that Digital Playground walked away with five awards. Their movies have always been held in high esteem by adult critics. This is the second year running that they've won Best Release — Cheerleaders was preceded by Babysitters. As for Pirates II, it's also no surprise that it won three awards. It's a milestone in adult moviemaking.”
