LOS ANGELES—At 4 p.m. PST today, The Canyons star James Deen, producer Braxton Pope and writer Bret Easton Ellis will appear on HuffPost Live. The trio will discuss the future of the film, working with Lindsay Lohan, and how the movie was partially funded through KickStarter.com.

“I’m glad for the opportunity to speak along with Braxton and Bret,” Deen said. “Up until this point, all the media coverage on The Canyons has typically only focused on the point of view of one person. Hopefully the three of us can give viewers the most accurate account of the movie as possible.”

Recently picked for distribution by IFC Films, The Canyons has been the focus of entertainment and gossip publications for months. Deen, Pope, and Easton Ellis will expand upon all the controversy, including Deen’s casting, Lindsay Lohan’s interaction with her co-stars, the film’s snub from Sundance and SXSW film festivals, and more.
