LOS ANGELES—Perennial female fan favorite performer Bobbi Starr rounds out the year with a whopping 18 AVN Award nominations. Starr, who will be signing at Evil Angel's booth at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, is in the running for AVN's 2010 Female Performer of the Year.
She's also nommed three times for Best Group Sex Scene in Manuel Ferrara/Evil Angel's Evil Angel 10, Rocco Siffredi/Evil Angel's Rocco Ravishes L.A., and Harmony Films' Satan's Whore. She's up for another four in the Best All Girl Sex Scene category in Belladonna/Evil Angel's Belladonna's Road Trip: Cabin Fever, Girlfriends Films' Lesbian Hospital 2, Belladonna/Evil Angel's Party of Feet and JM Productions' The Violation of Kylie Ireland.
The former concert oboist also appears in four Most Outrageous Sex Scene nominees: Belladonna/Evil Angel's Belladonna: No Warning 4, Jay Sin/Evil Angel's Pretty Sloppy 2, Rocco Siffredi/Evil Angel's "Rocco Ravishes L.A." and Joey Silvera/Evil Angel's Storm Squirters 7.
"My agent gave me a call on Wednesday to tell me I had 18 noms this year and I thought he was joking," Starr said. "I was amazed when I went to check it out myself—I nearly fell out of my chair. These are, by far, the most nominations I've ever had. I want to thank the reviewers at AVN for taking notice of the work I've been doing, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in Vegas at the AVN Awards Show in January."
