Alana Evans Accepts #IceBucketChallenge

LOS ANGELES—Alana Evans has posted a video to pwnedbygirls.com of her taking the Ice Bucket Challenge to help raise awareness and funds for the ALS Association.

The Ice Bucket Challenge viral charity campaign has spread across the interwebs from normal everyday people to sports stars, celebrities and politicians. The resurgent effort to fight the neurodegenerative disorder was sparked by the story of Pete Frates, a former Boston College Baseball Player and MLB hopeful who was diagnosed with the incurable disease at the age of 27.

According to media reports, celebrities from former President George W. Bush to Lady Gaga have accepted the challenge, and that, as of Thursday, the campaign had raised more than $41.8 million dollars from both existing and new donors. During the same period last year, the organization raised $2.1 million.

Alana Evans was nominated by fellow adult performer Tabitha Stevens and accepted the challenge. For her nominations, she called out Missy Martinez, Chris Climaxxx, and Ron Jeremy.

"ALS is a very serious disease and it's amazing to see the power of social media and how far the Ice Bucket Challenge has spread," said Evans. "I took the challenge as well as donated and hope everyone I nominated does so as well. As adult performers, this is the perfect opportunity to use our fan base and platforms for a good cause."
