Adult Source Media Earns Four Nominations for 2014 AVN Awards

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Adult Source Media is celebrating four 2014 AVN Awards nominations, including a prestigious Best Director – Non-Feature nod for Jim and Wendy Crawford, husband and wife co-directors of the Intimate Encounters line of high-end romantic features.

Jim and Wendy Crawford have been recognized for helming the desert-based erotic fantasy Oasis, a nominee for Best All-Sex Release. Featuring a cast of stunning adult performers—including Anissa Kate, Melody Jordan, Christie Stevens, and Tasha Reign—Oasis presents a collection of outdoor sex scenes set against the backdrop of the majestic Mojave Desert.

In addition, Chance Encounters earned nominations for Best Vignette Release and Best Three-Way Sex Scene – G/G/B. The nominated scene stars Dani Daniels and April O’Neil as longtime girlfriends who fall for each other during a night of drinking and girl talk. Everhard, playing Daniels boyfriend, stumbles upon the two only to be pulled into an impromptu threesome. Playing off the philosophy that everything happens for a reason, Chance Encounters finds people coming together in romantically random ways.

“The Intimate Encounters line is very special to Jim and me; we’re involved in every aspect of production. To receive nominations for Oasis and Chance Encounters is a wonderful honor, and to be acknowledged in a Best Director category is beyond gratifying,” ASM President Wendy Crawford said. “We thank AVN, and all of the fans who have embraced Intimate Encounters.”

The Intimate Encounters line launched in 2011 with the goal of producing romantic stories for women and couples to enjoy. Set in exotic and plush locations, the line pairs the industry’s sexiest performers in sensual and erotic acts of love and seduction. In addition to Oasis and Chance Encounters, the series includes Afternoon DelightDesireBrave HeartsBook of Love and the newest release Summer Lovers.
