Pornstar Database Looks to Expand Its Adult Star Information

CHARLOTTE, NC—With over 60,000 stars already represented throughout its pages, the new goal for Pornstar Database is to make sure each listing is current and complete. In an effort to make the site as comprehensive as possible, its webmaster is asking for industry insiders to provide any information missing from the site's profiles.

"We want to make sure fans can find all the information they're looking for on their favorites performers," Suzann Knudsen, the site's webmaster, said.

Launched in October 2008, PornStar Database includes biographies and statistics on thousands of adult stars, including performers from all niches and markets. While some stars have complete star pages on the site, others do not. Managers, publicists, studios, stars, and models are all encouraged to double-check their listings and provide the necessary information to flesh out an entry.

Even fans that know where the information can be found are welcome to send in information and links. The site also is looking for color print-resolution headshots (approximately 300dpi). Stars with complete pages are also encouraged to submit revised information where applicable to bring the listing up-to-date.

"We don't want to do any star a disservice by having incorrect information," says Knudsen. "If they can take five minutes to check, we would be thrilled to update their information."

Given the amount of mainstream attention the adult industry continues to garner daily, Knudsen points out that it has never been a better time to make sure one's information is readily available through a database such as Pornstar Database.

"This really works in the stars' favor," she adds. "It's another great way to gain exposure and build their fanbase."
