LAS VEGAS — Naughty Tweet, parent company for, has launched a "Verified Tweeter Award" for adult personalities, celebrities and stars listed on its network of sites.

The "Verified Tweeter Award" indicates to readers that the tweets, messages and interactions they are having with an individual user is in fact the real person, due to rampant deception when it comes to "fakes" masquerading as celebrities and famous folks on Twitter.

"The social networking world is plagued with spammers, identity thieves, cyber-squatters and weirdos posing as real stars," said Alyss Heart, webmistress for the Naughty Tweet Network. "We track almost 300 porn stars alone on Porn Star Tweet and across our networks, now more than 550 profiles. We do our best to monitor tweets, photos and videos to weed out the imposters, but sometimes they're difficult to spot, so we built the Verification Award."

Verification is simple and merely requires a photo, video or personal appearance at an official Naughty Tweet event. Complete instructions can be found on this PornStarTweet page.

Fans will appreciate the easy-to-identify award badge and can view the supporting video and photo documentation, which earned the award on individual verification pages.

"To our knowledge this is the first time anyone has attempted this task!  Mercedes Ashley was our first victim in a video we shot at AdultCon in March, which you can see on our ‘How To' page," Heart added. "We're careful to say that just because we haven't verified someone that doesn't mean the profile is not real. It's simple and fun to get verified -- so tweet your ass off!"

Naughty Tweet operates five sites in its current network: (sponsored by Brazzers), (sponsored by ),,,, and central blog site
