HOLLYWOOD—Noted superhero cosplayer and geek blogger Tanya Tate will be making an appearance this weekend at WonderCon. Tanya has been recognized on several genre sites for her prolific appearances as a costume player. WonderCon is an annual celebration of comic books and pop culture taking place in Anaheim, California March 29-31. Tanya will begin her WonderCon weekend by representing FirstComicsNews.com on a panel with other entertainment media specialists titled "How To Get News Coverage." As a genre blogger and reviewer as well as a publicist, Tanya is well versed on both sides of the media.
"I'm honored to be part of this panel," Tanya noted. "It consists of the top people in geek media news. For me to be sitting next to them and taking part of it, is an incredible feeling. I look forward to it."
The "How To Get News Coverage" panel will be held in Room 213 on Friday, March 29 at 3:30pm.
Tanya will also be making a special signing appearance at the Geekscape.net booth (#953) on Friday (5pm) and Saturday (3pm). Geekscape is the internet's premiere geek site about movies, video games, comics and the culture that thrives from them. There Tanya will be signing her geek-centric merchandise which includes 8x10s and her book Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume.
"Geekscape is an awesome community of pop culture enthusiasts," said Tanya. "I feel very special to be able to sign at their booth."
To promote her Wondercon appearance, Tanya has created a special video that has been posted to her Youtube page.

Tanya's WonderCon appearance comes hot on the heels of her superhero cosplay blog reaching its second anniversary. Launched in March of 2011 as a place for Tanya to post images of her cosplay adventures, the site grew to add video reviews, news and more.
