WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Award-winning director Doug Jeffries has been named director of live appearances for DV8 Casting. Jeffries already performs the same function for gay adult studio Channel 1 Releasing.
Jeffries’ appointment is the second synergistic relationship between the two gay adult companies. DV8 owner Jason Sechrest serves as Channel 1’s director of public relations.
“Doug Jeffries’ work ethic and organizational skills consistently astound me, and he makes himself available and on call 24/7, which is exacly what you need from someone in this position,” Sechrest said. “He’s been booking the biggest names in the business at the biggest clubs in the world for so long now, he’s the best there is.
