NEW YORK - To celebrate Jason Crew's 2009 GAYVN Award nominations, Lucas Entertainment is preparing a two-disc collection of the gay adult performer's 2008 work as an exclusive for the studio.
"I worked with Jason at a time when no other studio would give him the time of day," Lucas Entertainment president and chief executive officer Michael Lucas said. "I'm proud that his accomplishments with us are being recognized by GAYVN."
Crew is nominated for GAYVN Awards in the categories Best Bottom and Best Threesome (with Travis Irons and Luca Ciccone in Return to Fire Island). The Fire Island scene is among the nine included in the collection. The other eight comprise two scenes each from Rapture Inn (with Ray Star and Jarrod) and Farts! (with Danny Delta and Nick Capra) and one each from Flatiron Fuckers (with Brant Moore), Brothers' Reunion (with Jackson Wild), Flip This! (with Issac Conn) and Michael's Bed: Auditions 26 (with Lucas).
The Jason Crew Collection also includes interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and what Lucas called "bonus raunch content."
Crew said he was honored to be the subject of a retrospective project, and his experience with the studio was horizon-expanding.
"Michael Lucas knocked off a lot from my list of things I'd never done," he said. "The list is really small now."
