LOS ANGELES - Channel 1 Releasing received 30 nominations in 23 categories for the 2009 GAYVN Awards.
Nominees include Chi Chi LaRue's Unknown for Best Picture, Blackballed 6: Under the Hood for Best All-Sex Film, Shifting Gears for Best Bisexual Film, Doug Jeffries' Black Meat White Heat for Best Screenplay and Chi Chi LaRue for Best Director.
C1R exclusives also brought in a bevy of nominations including Cameron Marshall for Best Oral Scene, Best Newcomer and Best Actor. Blake Riley received nods for Best Actor and Best Bottom, while Johnny Hazzard was nominated for Best Cum Shot and Performer of the Year.
The GAYVN Awards are dedicated to recognizing outstanding movies and talented individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the gay adult entertainment industry. On behalf of trade journal GAYVN, a broad-based, nationwide panel of judges, predominantly from the gay press, annually recognizes the best of the best in gay porn.

The annual award show will take place March 28, 2009 at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco.
