HOLLYWOOD — Spurred by the debut of Jenna Jameson's first big-screen starring vehicle Zombie Strippers, Premiere magazine has published an overview of porn stars' ventures into mainstream movies.
Titled "From Porn to Mainstream: Can Jenna Pull It Off?" the feature by Glenn Kenny examines the careers of Linda Lovelace, Marilyn Chambers, Traci Lords, Ginger Lynn and Ron Jeremy. Kenny questions whether contemporary XXX stars such as Jameson and Stormy Daniels stand any chance of parlaying X-rated notoriety into mainstream Hollywood acceptance.
