The 22nd annual XRCO Awards Show, a private industry event, will include several Hall of Fame inductees in addition to the performers nominated in categories such as Female Performer of the Year, Orgasmic Analist, Superslut, Best Epic, and 20 others.
The date for this event is Thursday, April 20.
The X-Rated Critics Organization, founded in 1984 to give writers and editors from the adult entertainment industry a voice in selecting the yearly best in X-rated movies, awards works of excellence and specifically recognizes the unique qualities of sexually explicit films and individuals.
In addition to the regular awards, this year the XRCO is honored to induct a unique amalgam of stars and films into its Hall of Fame:
MOVIES: Face Dance Part 1,2 – ’93 Evil Angel, Justine: Nothing To Hide 2 – ’94 Cal Vista Films, and Neon Night, ’81 by Command Video.
ACTORS: Mark Davis, Jon Dough, and Blake Palmer.
ACTRESSES: Kylie Ireland and Keisha.
FILM PIONEERS: Richard Pacheco.
FILM CREATORS: Michael Ninn.
FIFTH ESTATE: Danni Ashe and Doug Oliver.
The New Starlet category includes Jasmine Byrne, Courtney Cummz, Sunny Lane, Hillary Scott, and Taryn Thomas. Meanwhile, the New Stud category has Christian, James Deen, Scott Nails, Tom Sizemore and Nat Turnher.
There are two dozen categories and most of the nominees plan on attending.
The show will be held at the Century Club at 10131 Constellation Blvd. in Century City.
Doors open at 7 and only adult industry, XRCO members, and pre-selected members of the press will be allowed admittance to the event. Bill Margold will be working the door. Anyone in the industry who feels that there is a possibility that Margold may not know them by sight are welcome to confirm a reservation by calling 818.501.6139.
The special hosts are Stormy Daniels, Lauren Phoenix, and Frank Bukkwyd. The Trophy Girls (aka Heart-On Girls) are Brea Bennett and Heidi Joy Pike.
