The fourth annual XBiz Awards went much as expected Wednesday night at Hollywood’s Key Club, but it managed to produce a few surprises along the way.
While some winners were predictable – SilverCash for affiliate program, AEBN for Video-on-Demand – others came unexpectedly.
SplitInfinity repeated last year’s win in the Web-hosting category, and Mansion Productions again won in the solution-provider category, although they tied with Too Much Media.
In the mobile category, Adult Mobile Solutions beat out the likes of Xobile and OhMobile.
Meanwhile, three special achievement awards were presented to Joe Lensman for businessman of the year, Jenna Jameson for businesswoman of the year, and Greg Piccionelli received an honorary legal award.
