HOLLYWOOD - X-Play has launched an online promo campaign for its big comedy feature Not Bewitched XXX with an animated teaser available now on YouTube.
"We're going to launch one trailer each week leading up to the release in September," co-producer Jeff Mullen told AVN. "This has never been done before in porn, so we're going to have some fun promoting the movie."
The spoof of the beloved 1960s TV sitcom stars Jenna Haze as Samantha, ex-Digital Playground girl Teagan as Tabitha, Mike Horner as Darren, James Bartholet as Larry, Ron Jeremy as Dr. Bombay and Nina Hartley as Endora.
The supporting cast includes Sasha Grey, Eva Angelina, Sunny Lane, Aurora Snow, Madison Ivy, Daisy Layne, Kandice Nicole, Kelly Skyline, Marli Jane, Winter Sky, James Deen, Jack Lawrence, Aaron Wilcoxxx and Nathan Threat.
Mullen told AVN that he and producing partner Scott David consider Not Bewitched XXX the best of their porno pop-culture parodies. The movie is slated for September release.
"I think Not Bewitched XXX is going to be a sales blockbuster and a big awards contender this year," Mullen said. "It's really funny, and the people who loved Not the Bradys XXX are going to love this one even more."
