Winners of 2nd Annual BBW FanFest Awards Announced

LAS VEGAS—For the second year in a row, the BBW FanFest settled into the Tuscany Suites & Casino in Las Vegas this past weekend, celebrating plus-size pulchritude from plumper to SSBBW. And one of the highlights was certainly the presentation of the 2013 BBW FanFest Awards, which took place July 27.

The trade show ran Friday thru Sunday and gave fans a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite BBW stars. The sold-out awards show was sponsored by PlumperPass.com and hosted by comedian Vanessa Lawson.

The show started with a red carpet that brought photographers and camera crews from around the world. PamalaWhat? from the United Kingdom covered the show live throughout the weekend, and there was also coverage from a German TV station. “I am so excited about all the international media coverage we have received for the show. The more people we can get the word out to and get involved with BBW FanFest the greater success we will have each year,” said show co-owner Kari Anthony.

The BBW beauties shimmied on the red carpet, dressed for the "Old Hollywood Glam" themed evening. After the red carpet guests enjoyed a buffet-style dinner. Comedian Lawson, hosting the show for the second straight year, kept everyone laughing. Entertainers Fuego Fusion treated the audience to two separate performances.

Some of the show highlights included Norma Stitz receiving the BBW Fan Fest Hall of Fame award followed by a touching speech about acceptance in the BBW community. All the way from the U.K., Busty Cookie took home the award for BBW of the Year. Taking home her very first award for Director of the Year, Courtney Trouble was genuinely shocked and humble when giving her acceptance speech.

The two big winners of the night, both winning two awards, were Lexxxi Luxe and Plumper Pass. Luxe won BBW FanFest Fan Favorite (voted on by the fans) and Solo Site of the Year. PlumperPass.com scored wins for Studio of the Year and Multi-Girl Site of the Year.
