Wicked Pictures Supports Million Minute March

Wicked Pictures recently donated $500 to local radio station KLAQ 95.5 FM’s Million Minute March, a charity drive to raise one million minutes in phone cards to be sent to American troops stationed throughout the world. The company also has contract performer Julia Ann at the station assisting the effort.

Fans who visit the station located at 4180 North Mesa at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday with calling cards ready to donate will receive complimentary Polaroids with Julia Ann. The AVN Hall Of Famer is participating in the event as part of her Southwest promotional tour of retail stores owned by VC Distributors, which got Wicked involved with the March.

“I am not the biggest supporter of our President but I am a big supporter of our troops and this drive will help them to call their families,” Ann told AVN.com. “I am very happy to be here doing this and the people over there are just doing the best that they can.”

"We're flattered that VC Distributors and KLAQ FM asked us to get involved in this very worthy charity, and we're delighted that Julia Ann, AVN's current Best Actress award winner and a truly legendary performer, will be in town representing Wicked at the station and seeing her fans at the stores. With two big films on the way and a third in development, Julia's a busy woman but never too busy to make time for the people who mean the most to her - her fans," Wicked Publicity Director Daniel Metcalf said in a statement.

Julia Ann will be appearing at the March as part of her signing tour, partially to promote the upcoming release of the Michael Raven-directed video, Killer Sex & Suicide Blondes.

“It’s my best movie to date. It is the movie that I have, by far, put the most effort into, not only acting-wise. It was very physically challenging and demanding,” Ann said.
