Wicked Pictures has launched a new VIP sweepstakes contest offering fans the opportunity to win a walk on the red carpet with the Wicked Girls. Announced at last week's AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, the contest runs through Feb. 10.
"Our advertising and marketing campaign this year put a lot of the Wicked girls on the red carpet at high-profile mainstream events," said Joy King, Wicked's Vice President of Special Projects. "[Wicked head] Steve Orenstein thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and try to involve the fans in that by giving away a free trip to a major VIP red-carpet event."
Fans can enter online at vip.wickedpictures.com. Under the contest rules, one grand prize winner will receive a pair of VIP passes to a red-carpet event to be determined by Wicked. At least two of the company's glamorous contract starlets will accompany the sweepstakes winner to the function. The company will also provide round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations and ground transportation for the lucky winner.
Two first-prize winners will receive an Apple iPod pre-loaded with ten Wicked Pictures movies. Ten second-prize winners will receive a dozen Wicked DVDs, and 50 third-prize winners will each be awarded a free thirty-day membership to wickedpictures.com.
"We're excited about the promotion, and this probably won't be the only time we'll do it this year," King said. "The girls have been doing a lot of red-carpet events this past year; we did the World Music Awards with Kirsten Price and Jessica Drake. Michael Jackson and Beyonce were there; the crowd was huge. It was probably the biggest red-carpet they've ever done; they got a lot of exposure for that event."
Past red-carpet affairs attended by the Wicked girls include the annual Night of 100 Stars (an ultra-swank Oscar-watching party at the Beverly Hilton), Sheila E's Circle of Passion/Elevate Hope, the Vince Neil Golf Tournament and other celebrity charity events.
