The city council passed an ordinance on Thursday that will allow strip clubs in the city, according to a recent Memphis ABC24 news report. The ordinance was not without stipulations, as several changes were made before the ordinance could go into effect.
According to the new report, the ordinance requires all club employees to be fingerprinted, owners must pay for background checks, and the clubs must be limited to a certain area of the city.
