HAMDEN, Conn. — Adult Video Liquidators saw its first in-store signing by a transsexual performer Friday, with Wendy Williams greeting close to 200 fans between 6 and 10 p.m.
Also on hand were Johnny of Stage Door Johnny's and adult legend Teri Weigel, who participated in an impromptu photo shoot with Williams beside a custom Mustang outside the store, attracting curious passersby who helped turn the event into even more of a success.
"I am truly humbled and grateful for the turnout, and hopefully more stores will start featuring TS stars in their stores," said Williams.
Those who attended the signing were treated to free Orgazma energy drinks, t-shirts, storewide discounts and more.
