LOS ANGELES — The third annual Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment (F.A.M.E.) Awards has announced that voting is now open to the public. Fans 18 years of age and older can now log on to the official website at www.thefameawards.com to narrow down the list of their favorite performers in the world of adult entertainment.
Fans are invited to choose eight finalists in categories such as Favorite Female Starlet, Favorite Male Star, Favorite Anal Starlet, Favorite Breasts, Favorite Ass, Dirtiest Girl in Porn, Favorite Star Website, Favorite Studio, Favorite Feature Movie and more. The fan-selected Wild Card category is back this year and will allow voters to determine the final category.
This year, the F.A.M.E. Awards will also introduce the new Favorite Celebrity Sex Tape of All-Time award.
Fans will be able to nominate finalists - either from those pre-nominated or via a write-in box - until Monday, April 21, when the top eight candidates in each category will move to the final round of voting. This round will remain open until the F.A.M.E. Awards Show takes place on Saturday, June 7 at 9 p.m.
The show will be held during the 12th annual Erotica LA convention to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Admission is free to those who purchase tickets for the convention. Hosts for the show will be announced in the coming weeks and organizers promise that the show will be bigger and better than last year's production.
Industry leaders Adam & Eve (www.adameve.com), Genesis Magazine (www.genesismagazine.com), online adult DVD rental company WantedList (www.wantedlist.com) and AVN (www.avn.com) have partnered to bring The F.A.M.E. Awards to life.

In addition to asking fans to vote, the F.A.M.E. Awards team invites all this year's nominees to submit new "soft" images if they are not satisfied with the pictures currently posted on the site.
