Vivid Ha! Launches With Stood Up Party

NEW YORK - Vivid Girl Savanna Samson co-hosts a bash tonight with "The Reverend" Bob Levy at New York club Ultra (37 W. 26th Street) to toast the release of Stood Up, the debut title under Vivid Entertainment's new comedy banner, Vivid Ha!

Directed by B. Skow, the farcical X-rated take on Levy's life story has been promoted on The New York Post's Page Six and "The Howard Stern Show." Tonight's event will begin as a private, open-bar affair from 8 to 10 p.m., and open up to the public after 10, with Samson and Levy on hand to greet fans and sign free copies of the Stood Up DVD.

Samson is also scheduled to appear in a pre-taped segment on tonight's edition of the CNBC program "On the Money" (7:30-8 p.m. EST), discussing Stood Up, her successful winemaking venture and other topics.

Vivid's Marci Hirsch told AVN that the studio has several other comedy features in development for the Vivid Ha! imprint. The company plans to launch Vivid Plus, a label specializing in glamorous plus-sized women, in 2008.
