Blue Moon, an imprint of the Avalon Publishing Group, will publish a series of erotic novels based on the adventures of the Vivid Girls.
A licensing agreement between Avalon and Vivid Entertainment Group calls for four 200-page, 70,000 word novels to begin appearing in the fall of 2005.

"Our goal is to make sure the novels appeal to the girls' existing fan base and to reach out to a new segment of readers who enjoy well-written, exciting, modern erotic novels."
Steven Hirsch, a co-founder and co-chairman of Vivid, said in a statement that, "This is another major step for us in the extension of the Vivid brand into promising new markets. Our first mainstream book, 'How to Have a XXX Sex Life: The Ultimate Vivid Guide,' was published July 20th by the ReganBooks division of HarperCollins, and a series of graphic novels and comic books from leading comic publisher Avatar Press, Inc. is now in production."
The Vivid Girls featured in the series will include Tawny Roberts, Mercedez, Sunrise Adams and Savanna Samson.
The novels will include vignettes from the Vivid Girls' real-life personal adventures as well as material from their movies.
