Vivid Branded Sportswear Debuting at MAGIC Next Week

Vivid Entertainment Group has licensed their brand to ODM, a sportswear art design house, to create exclusive T-shirts, caps and other fashion items, which will be sold in upscale boutiques and selected retail chains nationwide.

ODM will introduce four men’s T-shirt and cap designs featuring the distinctive Vivid “star” logo and other design elements at the MAGIC marketplace show in Las Vegas from Feb. 23 to Feb. 26. Vivid Girl Sunrise Adams will be on hand Tuesday, Feb. 24 to show off the new line.

“Adult entertainment has crossed over and is beginning to have an impact on the fashion mainstream, so the timing for this line is excellent,” said Don Erwin, vice president of sales for ODM. “The marriage of Vivid and ODM is solid, since we are both the top companies in our field. Our Vivid line is sexy, extremely good-looking and very edgy. It is something a man or woman can wear anywhere without embarrassment, but it will definitely have the cool look going for it. Our goal is for the design elements to be powerful and eye catching, because a design has to register with a buyer in a fraction of a second.”

“We are delighted with our new association with ODM,” says David Schlesinger, vice president of licensing for Vivid. Vivid is an internationally recognizable brand and high quality apparel will play an important role in our licensing program.”

ODM controls the apparel licenses for popular brands such as Cowboy Bebop, the japinamation series that is part of the Cartoon Network’s popular Adult Swim block of uber-hip programming. Corona and Dragon Ball Z are a few of the other well-known licenses that ODM designs for.
