TARZANA, Calif. - Adult performers Veronica Rayne and Jack Vegas have announced the Aug. 29 grand opening of Oxygen, a "porn-friendly" restaurant and lounge located at 19548 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana.
"This has been a lifelong dream for me," said Rayne. "I am happy that I can pursue both of my dreams, to perform in adult movies and open my own restaurant, at the same time."
Rayne and Vegas both had eight years of experience running nightclubs and bars in Boston before relocating to the West Coast to work in porn. Oxygen will feature booths dedicated to such adult entertainers as Stormy Daniels, Marcus London, Delilah Strong and Brooke Haven.
"Anyone who has been in the adult business knows how hard it is to find people who are genuine," said Veronica. "The people honored have stood by me through highs and lows and I wanted to recognize them for the quality individuals there are both on- and off-camera."
Oxygen will offer a full menu until 11 p.m. six nights a week. "Our menu will reflect our varied tastes," said Vegas. "We will serve everything from a real Boston steak and cheese to a chicken salad sandwich. We will have hamburgers, beer battered mushrooms and for those with a sweet tooth, Boston Cream Pie and cheesecake."
The restuarant will also feature theme nights including Game Night (Monday), Sex in the City Night (Tues.), Industry Night (Wed.), Rock Out '80s Night (Thurs.), and Lounge Night (Fri. and Sat.)
Sponsored by Brazzers.com and AdultBizLaw.com, the industry and celebrity-only grand opening will be hosted by Rayne, Brooke Haven and the girls of Goldstar Modeling. DJ Morty ILL will provide the music.
