With the Jan. 15 street date for VCX’s new Insatiable DVD coming up fast, company head David Sutton has reported an overwhelming flood of pre-orders for the classic Marilyn Chambers feature.
“The pre-sales are off the hook,” Sutton said, taking a moment to relax in the VCX booth at the Adult Entertainment Expo. “I haven’t even seen the deleted scene featured on the DVD yet, because I had to ship out every copy we had in stock. Today, we got a check for 3,000 more units, and that’s just a fraction of the business we’re doing. It's either fill or kill, so I've had to hold back some of the orders for our other releases in order to include the copies of Insatiable.”
The new 2-disc special edition release of Insatiable contains both the hardcore and cable versions of the feature, audio commentary by Hall of Fame performers Marilyn Chambers and Gloria Leonard, and footage from the movie’s L.A. premiere at the Pussycat Theater. The DVD also includes original theatrical trailer and a photo gallery.
