LANSDALE, PA. - Donna Sanford has been named National Sales Manager for Tommy Kaye Productions.
A 24-year industry veteran, Sanford started her career in adult at World and Pacific News and crossed over to video sales with Gourmet Video. She helped launch Pandemonium/Futureworks in 2006 and will continue to rep that company while working with Tommy Kaye.
"I am excited to be on board and represent Tommy's vision of a new adult genre," said Sanford. "Tommy Kaye's movies bridge the gap between feature movies with boring sex and gonzo videos with poor production values."
Sanford repped Tommy Kaye at the 2008 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, where she said the company received positive feedback from fans, retailers and distributors.
"The many visitors that stopped by our Tommy Kaye Productions booth commented on how refreshing the movies were," she said. "The consensus really liked the fact that Tommy shot in unique and interesting locations, and not in the usual boring living room or hotel rooms that so many directors use. Everyone appreciated the natural look of the girls combined with the creative storylines, beautiful visuals and production quality of the movies. I would have to say they were a hit."
Tommy Kaye Productions' first movie The Collectors has attracted attention with its retro '80s packaging. The company's next release Country Fresh is packaged with an air freshener.
"Tommy definitely has a high quality and different product to offer, and I can really get behind it," said Sanford. "I think big things are ahead for Tommy Kaye Productions."
